Production operative/ Machine operator
York | Full Time | Permanent
We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Operative / Machine Operator due to expansion and launching new range of products.
You will report to Factory Team Leader and will be responsible for various tasks relating to the manufacturing of quality dairy products whilst adhering to company policies at all times.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Weighing of ingredients and following a recipe sheet
- Operating and troubleshooting of processing equipment
- Goods In acceptance and storage in line with the procedure
- Completion of all relevant paperwork
- Cleaning and sanitation of equipment and facilities
- Manufacturing of products to induce pasteurisation, filling, coding, labelling, palletising, manual handling
- Operating fork lift truck, goods loading and unloading (training can be provided)
- Any other reasonable task supporting the operation of the business
Requirements:
- Previous food manufacturing experience
- Food Safety for Manufacturing Level 2 (not essential as training will be provided)
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
- The role requires a lot of manual handling
- Must be able to work overtime if required
Package:
- Overtime available @ 1.5 time
- 28 Days Holiday
- Performance bonus (max £1000 per annum)
